For the first time in 67 years, the Western Poultry Disease Conference will be held in beautiful Salt Lake City, UT, at the Marriott City Center from April 16 to 18th. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet colleagues and friends with the purpose of exchanging updates in poultry medicine. In addition, while in Salt Lake City, you will be able to learn its history at Temple Square or visit the Olympic Park.
The theme of the 67th WPDC is: “Immunosuppression Challenges in a Changing Poultry Industry”. We will cover topics that include viral immunosuppression and respiratory diseases, immunosuppression control strategies, the impact of nutritional immunology in disease control, immune involvement in parasitic infections, and as always, case reports. Research presentations, clinical trials, diagnostics, management, and case reports on poultry health are welcome as oral or poster presentations. Oral presentations will be limited to 15 minutes. With great enthusiasm, as Program Chair, I invite you to the 67th WPDC in Salt Lake City. I hope to see you next year.
