The conference will be held on Thursday 3rd (workshops) to Saturday 5th May 2018. The theme of this conference is: “Connecting and Collaborating in Rehabilitation”. The conference will cover both clinical and laboratory studies relating to assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with brain impairment across the lifespan. It will also focus on how scientific evidence can be translated into clinical practice, particularly through education and training of clinicians. As ASSBI is a multidisciplinary society, we encourage researchers and health professionals in areas such as neuropsychology, clinical psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work, neurology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, recreation, exercise physiology, nursing, medicine and service coordination to contribute and take part. Please note that we will be continuing with the "how-to" presentation format which was introduced at ASSBI last year. “How-to” sessions are 60- minute mini-masterclasses in which leading practitioners briefly give an update on a specific assessment or therapeutic approach, providing an opportunity for attendees to learn new skills.
